Question?
Do we have a link on this forum to just talk about other stuff?? Like I am so excited because this weekend I am having a girls weekend with my sister Mare, 2 of my BFFs Laine Crosby and Linda Stirling and my amazing daughter Meghan...we are headed up near Baltimore to see " John Edward" and are making a weekend out of it...I might even have a Kalua and Cream, LOL! I spent most of Tuesday with my daughter and the 4 grandson's...I think I need to buy her a T Shirt that says " Yes, they are all mine, yes they are boys, these two are twins and this one will be @in June and this one will be 4 in May" ....We had the 4 seat stroller loaded and it took us an hour to get done at Wal Mart because so many people stopped her....but on the other hand it is pretty awesome. Braxton, who is almost 2 cracked me up when he pushed the button for the elevator and the light came on...he started jumping around fist pumping and going "YES! YES!" You would have thought he made the winning touchdown in the Super Bowl...Meghan just laughed and said...he has never done that before...but it was soooo cute...

Anything goes
As you can see from reading all the posts we are all joined together as one big family effected by Kidney Cancer, Eveyone is free to share the good and bad things in their lives and to talk abour subjects having nothing to go with Kidney Cancer. Like humor, family, and accomplishments. By the way Icewoman is in Baltimore this week to see 3 of our grandaughters who live n Owings Mill.

some forums are like " stay on topic"..etc...I should have known this wasn't LOL but just wanted to check...I wish I knew she was here I would have made a special effort to hook up with her...maybe next time...I live in the Northern part of Calvert County, which is southern Maryland, in Sunderland...it is about 10 mins from Chesapeake Beach and the Bay...it used to be quiet Country county but now it is crazy, lots of traffic and McMansions...once Wal Mart comes things go crazy...luckily the sub division we live in is older..we built our house in 84 and most of the houses in here have at least 3 acres and they didn't come in take out all the trees...we have 9 acres off a cul de sac with woods all around us...it used to be lots of woods until the Beavers arrived now there is marshland where there used to be trees...but it does have its good points...it is sort like our own little wildlife sanctuary, the deer hang in our back yard, there is a pair of Eagles that nest here now and lots of hawks...I usually get two or three sets of bluebirds a year in my box...I have to go out with my Yorkies though so nothing gets them...I wish it was still woods but I love watching wildlife too...Think I better get in bed to rest up for my big weekend...tell Icewoman I am sorry I missed her...

Go for it Rd23! This forum is for LIVING!!!!!!!!!! I think we appreciate living differently after 60.
Speaking of wildlife...I live on the outer edge of a golf course. I go out in the evening to enjoy the views and be outdoors. On monday I was standing by a tree. Quietly. Looking out toward my right. Then on my left just a few feet away walks a BEAR and 2 cubs!!!!!!! Right by me! Much bigger than I would have expected. The cubs weren't newborns either. Holy Crap! After they went by me, I ran home and was able to get my wife to come out and see them run off. Major cool!
Last year I saw a moose. ( my bucket list is a bit of underachievements) Is your life over if you complete a bucket list? I am beginning to worry. So I have added the Taj Mahal to it. That should keep me out of completing my goal.

Post ahead :-)
As long as the threads title is clear. Be it "Goats and me", "Making funny faces to the CT scanner when its spinning" or whatever suits you :-)
If the "social" posts get too many Im sure we can ask the admins for a sub-forum to put them in if needed.
/G
Ps. If I hold back a fart during CT scan will it show up on the images?

Be careful if you see Moose with Squirrel. Especially if the squirrel can fly.
