More encouraging words "I've been NED 6 yrs this month". I remember how important encouraging words were to me when starting my journey I was 3A with one node.
My best to all of you and wishes for a long life ahead.
Charlene
I'm also stage 3A with one node. You lift my spirits.

I can't tell you what it means to me to hear that your are cancer free for so long.
I get very anxious and frightened when I read how many people here have had recurrences and new cancers. I was beginning to think that it is just inevidable and that has preyed on my mind since I finished my treatment in September. I lay awake at night worrying about when the other shoe would drop. Every CT scan and blood scares the heck out of me. It is still so new for me and it is so reassuring to hear some people DO make it without getting a recurrence or get another type of cancer.
I feel so sad for the people who find out they have to start another battle with cancer. It literally brings me to tears.
Thanks so much for sharing!
I've read so many post about reoccurance that its almost like I feel like its 'going' to happen to me.
I fear that so many posters here are those who have struggled for years, and the ones that have no reoccurance don't come back.
