Chuck's a go for the week of April 22

The Doctors office just called... Chuck is starting the trial(IPI and Anti PD 1) the week of April 22.. we go for an EKG,ECHO, Scans and Labs next week... the schedular is going to call with the exact day...for the testing.. waiting stinks ... I am the most impatient person in the world...and I have to say the Scans part always terrifies me...I hate seeing what new has popped up....The one before him at this site started last week.. and so far so good on the side effects....Praying really hard that this works for him!! Would love to be posting Fox like posts for him in a few months!! Hope Everyone Has A Wonderful Day!! Hugggsss

    I know what you are going through.  Waiting does stink. But getting into the trial was the hard part. I think that you realize that being selected isn't too random. Besides the scans and in my case biopsies, the blood work is specific  and biological markers of some sort are being looked for, to help ensure success. So a big part is complete. Does that make sense? .... Now to be one of the responders....Living this way is strange. But you start to get used to it after awhile. I'm up to 23 infusions after not knowing if I would ever get one.

    That's great news about the trial. Yes, the waiting is tough and like you, it's not one of my strong points. I wish both of you the best I do hope you're posting Fox-like comments soon. Good luck!
