THE GOOD:

I was shocked by how good Kellie Pickler was, and what a gorgeous couple she and Derek are together....I'm still Team Dorothy, but I think Kelie and Derek may be the ones to watch!

THE BAD:

Contemporary is NOT a ballroom dance style!!!  I love all forms of dance, but I watch Dancing with the Stars to see BALLROOM DANCING!  I'm cringing in anticipation of what other "new dance styles" are coming.

THE UGLY:

The "bellhop" who had to carry that British diva's mini-dog around all night is Sasha Farber, a champion Latin dancer in Australia, and pro on Dancing with the Stars Australia.  I think poor Sasha should just hand in his letter of resignation and get on the next plane back to Australia where they appreciate him, if this is his new job now.

 

 

I agree with you as I want to see ballroom dancing, not whatever new dance they think up.  Remember last year when they had to put 2 dances together?  It was awful. I like what you wrote Traci, you are so funny!

I did really like the show Monday!

Well isn't this nice?  A place to post our thoughts on DWTS!  I also am a big fan of it and my husband and I watch it, season after season.  lol  I didn't know most of the stars this year, but, I kind of like that.  It's like I can't have an opinion of them outside the show, or, not yet.  lol

Who is my favorite?  Hmmmm..I will have to get back to you on that.

Sean didn't seem to be able to move the top portion of his body.  Guess it's because of all of his muscles. 

Oh, I liked the football player a lot!  It seems like when they have the pro football players on and olympians, one of them win.  I wonder if that will be the case this year. 

Yea, I thought Sean couldn't move either.  I think his fiancee Katherine is sure a doll!  I hope it works out for them.  Did you know they are getting married on tv?

Kylez, my favorites are usually the ones who are just so happy to be on the show, learning to dance from a dance professional.  

I think about folks like Florence Henderson and Gladys Knight -- they weren't good dancers at all, but they loved dancing, worked hard, treated their partners with respect, and came out there every week with a smile, and it was a joy to watch them because of it.

Good ole Florence and Gladys!  They both always were smiling Traci and obviously were enjoying it!  That is what I like to see too!

The Good:

Yay, the Micro-Dog was nowhere to be seen last night!  I was so afraid this was going to be Sasha's new full-time job!

The Bad:

Oooh, Dorothy had a rough night.  I so hope she comes back strong next week.

The Ugly:

Mall cops as a quickstep theme??  Really, Tony?  

Next week's "Prom Night" theme sounds like fun...any guesses as to what non-ballroom, prom-related styles they're going to throw in next week for me to complain about?

Traci, I am loving what you write and really look forward to it!  This makes watching the show soooooooo much more fun having all of you comment on it. 

I was surprised that her little dog wasn't there, not at all.  I wonder if they had complaints about Sasha taking care of it.  Traci, did you complain to the show?  lol

Poor Dorothy   She did not do well at all.  And, she seemed so nervous.  I felt sorry for her.  She might be going soon.  And, what was that about her back?  A cyst or disc?  My hubby was talking to me and I couldn't hear what they said.

And, OMG Wynonna and Tony  Bad, really bad

Prom night should be fun.  I don't know what dances they might have them do.  Who knows as they keep adding absurb ones all of the time.  I wish they would just stick to what they used to use, ballroom dances, and, even better music. 

Guesses on who is going home tonight?  I say Cheryl's partner..is it DL?  Although he danced better. 

 

Kind of a surprise tonight!  I think it was best for Dorothy to pull out, even though, I think she would have been eliminated anyway.  She went with grace and that is what I would expect from her.  A classy lady.

Kellie and Derek are my fav's!!!! 

Did the rest of you see Eric Roberts in the audience?  Why was he there?  I have to admit, I've always had a crush on him.  His VOICE is so sexy!  That low, slow, Southern accent!  lol

Here are my favorites, but, they could change.  Zen, Aly and Kellie!  Those 3 are all amazing and you'd never know they weren't professionals.  It was sad seeing Dorothy, but, she wasn't very good.  I just hope she is going to be ok.

Zendaya - she is so little- I'd almost be afraid I'd break her if I was dancing with her lol  She is fantastic!

Aly - she and her routine weren't good last night.  I know Mark goes out on a limb sometimes with his routines - this one just wasn't good

Wynona - Please send her home!  She cannot dance.  She cannot move! 

Andy - He is improving and he always makes me smile.  I am starting to think his partner is into dominance.  Have you noticed her costumes and her dances have always been kind of dominetrix?  lol

Lisa - Geez, make a fool of yourself by having him take his shirt off.  Ofcourse, he took it off and posed.  I don't know..I guess I just don't think he is that good looking.  She can go, but, leave her little dog!  He is cute!

DL - Please get rid of him too!  He is funny, but, can't dance.  I thought last night was just him doing something, not sure what and Cheryl acting like she was the main feature in a stripper bar.  lol

Sean - Love the YMCA...I keep singing it now.  lol  He did better, but, not impressive.  I don't think he can move his upper body that well, as someone else wrote before, and, he just has no rhythem.
