Can't Remember

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

I can't remember if I came back to share my clean PET results or not. Anyway, NED!

However, I have a bump on the side of my tongue that's worrying the heck out of me. It popped up when I had thrush last month and is still there. I'm going next week to have it looked at in case it's something nasty that was too small for the scan to detect. Sometimes I feel like I don't get a break from worrying. :o/

    and Grr!  NED is so wonderful.  Sorry to hear about the "spot", though.  I know how it is - during the rational moments, you know it's all good - but none of us can avoid "what if?" completely. 

    Hoping that this time next month month, you're telling the story, and laughing at yourself for worrying.

    Yay!! That is so amazing and you should celebrate.
    The bump on your tongue is most likely nothing. It might simply be scar tissue. Keep us posting none the less so we can help you celebrate once again when they tell you you're fine :-)
