If Gary and company can have Friday Funnies, I thought we could have something on another day of the week.  This is more of the "warm fuzzy" type of item.

Written by my just turned 8 years old granddaughter at the start of the school year last September:

Dear Dad

I love you

It gos down to my heart and

    Roses are red

    When my daughter was about that age she had written a poem for her grandmother.

     

    Roses are red

    violets are blue

    sugar is sweat,

    and so are you!
