°*❤*˚° Do You Have Any Plans For Easter Sunday? °*❤*˚°

We're going to our niece's home for Easter Sunday.  They've got a new home and love entertaning in it.  It should be a really nice day.  There will be an egg hunt for the little ones.  Fun!

I did get a new outfit, but, my hubby didn't.  lol

My Sister is having it this year, so, all I have to do is take a few things.  I plan on making the sweet potato casserole and an apple pie.  Not sure what else I might take.  Oh yea, WINE!  Lots of WINE!

We're having Easter dinner here.  What was I thinking?  lol  Actually, we love having family dinner's here.  Love all of the laughter, talking, eating..just enjoying a wonderful day together with our loved ones.

I've already done most of my "heavy cleaning", so, just some dusting and sweeping later in the week.  My hubby has been a huge help.  He even cleaned my oven! 

I didn't buy a new "bonnet" this year.  lol  We will go to church Saturday night, as, Sunday will just be too busy.  It won't be the same, but, I can't go to church Sunday, greet all of the family coming and have the dinner going.  I am not superwoman!  lol  Or, amI?

Hey Ritzy, my oven needs cleaned.  Send your hubby over, ok?  LOL  You come too!  We can have an oven cleaning party!

Our family wil be combining Easter with my MIL's 85th birthday. She has been very inspiration to me during my treatment.  She is a breast cancer surviver of over 44 years.  She had a mastectomy and colbalt radiation back in 1969.  What an amazing women.

My kids will also be there so all my chicks will be under one roof, which makes me very happy.  And yes, even though they are all in their twenties, they get an Easter basket. Mom's prerogative.

I hope to be in Ohio, visiting my 90-yr-old parents -- a surprise for them.  This will be my first really long drive (about 400 miles) on my own since my surgery, chemo, and rads I had last year.  My husband can't get the time off work to go along.  So, this is a kind of milestone in my return to normalcy, as such.

I may spend Easter morning with my mother so that my father can go to church.  (I doubt my mother will want to scurry around, as she has issues with her hip.)  They live in an independent facility near one of my brothers.  So, my brother has signed up for me to join my parents for Easter dinner there.  Later in the day, he and his family will take supper over to my parents' apartment.

When I/we go visit my parents, I/we stay at my brother's so that there is no work my parents have to do. My plan is to return home Wednesday so I can relax a few days before having to return to school.

Grandsons will do easter egg hunt at our house..(we did one at the school already) and we'll be going out for dinner since it's my oldest B day (she'll be 25...)

Really feeling like Spring & Easter here...My husband brought home the most beautiful bouquet of white tulips with scarlet on the tips.  Love them!

 

Your tulips sound beautiful Susie and what a very sweet thoughtful hubby you have!  You best give him a big hug! 

I brought in some daffodils and crocus's from one of my flower gardens.  I was surprised that the daffodils were up, but, there they were.  lol  Hoping my hyacinth's are up soon.  They smell soooooooo good!

I've been coloring eggs to have for the kids for the egg hunt.  Some are psychodelic!  LOL  I know some just use plastic eggs, but, it is fun coloring them and reminds me of when I was a kid.
