Posting a picture

Am just checking on posting a picture using TinyPic

AND it did not work.

    Here are John's instructions....

    from another thread....

    Try this;

    Using the tree icon (insert/edit image) in the message menu bar, do the following;

    click the tree icon, (for an image you have saved on your computer), this opens a pop up window (Insert/Edit Image)

    click image URL (the browse button right side), this will open another pop up window (File Browser)

    click the upload (top left)

    File (browse..., where you have the file stored on your computer)

    Upload (this puts it in a folder of yours on CSN) close the box for upload

    click the file you want to post, the Insert File (top right)

    put in an image description and title, then insert.

    This will insert the image into your post...

    Phrannie.  Thank you for reposting the instructions  As you can see, it worked for me.  I printed the instructions and will keep it for future reference.  Aloha, Johnny

    It doesn't like the image tagged link...

    But if you Disable rich-text at the bottom left, then insert the HTML coded link from Tiny Pic. That will work, the image I inserted is yours from Photobucket.

    But if you need to make a change it defaults back to rich-text and you gotta get rid of the inserted code.

    Thanks for sharing..., what's the flag to the right of the Hawaii State Flag..?

    I cropped the flag portion from a photo I took at our Memorial Day services at our Veterans Cemetery.  The Junior ROTC from a local high school provides a color guard yearly for our services.  The third flag is theirs.  I used to do a lot of veteran volunteer work for several veteran organizations.  Since the third flag is sort of hidden, it kinda represents the colors of the organization.

    I tried posting using the TinyPic code by disabling rich-text, but it did not work.  I will check it out later, but I like the instructions you provided.  I do not have to go to an external link.

    Cool Deal...

    The scenario definitely reminds me of the events I participated in while there...

    Camp HM Smith FMFPAC HQ, Punch Bowl, Pearl Harbor..., memories...

    The opening scene on both the old Hawaii-50 and the new..., always reminds me seeing Punch Bowl..
