Great news Matt!!!josh r. said:Wonderful news
Hi Matt,
This is wonder news and it brings back wonderful memories of the first year of "all clear" from my ENT in 1992. As I came out of the office I had a hard time not going to my knees and giving thanks right there. I did hold on until I got inside my car before I did give up an emotional "thank You". Today I do it daily unabashedly, for myself and all of us survivors. Cheers to us all and those to come! josh r.
Man that's good news!!!! Yee-Haw.
And next time don't make me hold my breath so long will ya!!!

And a Good Rookie you were.....
Congrats Matt! Glad you got the news you were expecting. I think it is not unusual for us to get ourselves a little worked up from time to time with this thing they call cancer. But...in time it will not be on your mind as often.
Kreg just had his PET 3 months after tx and saw his ENT with a scope, now three wks later he says his mouth feels funny....right away, he's freaked. I had to remind him that his PET was just three wks ago and he gets to see his ENT in 3-4 more wks and most likely this is scar tissue starting to form or could be from some irritation of different foods he's been trying to get back to. I know we'll stay away from the "Flamin' Hot Cheetos"....we'll save those for you!
So keep on keepin' on.....

Cris,
I was sampling some candy yesterday. You know them as Extreme Hot Tamales. I like to give my taste buds a poke in the rear other wise they won’t wake-up (Matt logic).
Continued good healing for Kreg.

I knew it
Alrighty Matt. If you ask my wife she will tell you I am never right, but in this case being a betting man, I was all in that your scan was all clear and what was seen was as the Doc said "nothing". I'm sure it gave you a feeling that you never felt before. I was alot like Josh, I got into the parking lot and called my son in Florida and lost it, the best cry I ever had.
Life is good.............enjoy the weekend

Have you tried Lemon Drops ? That's what my Rad Onc . keeps sugesting to me. I have tried them a few times but they make me start coughing . He also said sour things so I eat olives and pickles every once in a while but so far no luck . It's been 5 months since I finished treatments.
