Some sad news
Hi Everyone,
I got an email from Emily (Epicc) yesterday and her mother passed away on Saturday morning. She asked me if I would let you know. She is busy with her dad making arrangements for the wake and very emotional as you can imagine. I know she will be getting back to the posts and really needs some of your wonderful support. Thank you all, you're such a blessing. Becky

Sorry for your loss Emily. You, your mom and family will be in my prayers. Mac
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. It has been a very difficult and emotional time for me and my family. The wake was Tuesday and the mass and burial was yesterday. I took the rest of this week off from work to gather my thoughts. Now I need to take care of my dad. My parents were married 50 years. My dad is very sad right now. This was a long journey. I spent every evening taking Care of my mom. I feel such an empty void. Hopefully with time I will begin to heal. I want to thank all of you for all your support these last 6 months. Everyone here has been so caring. I always felt comfortable talking to everyone about how I was feeling. I couldn't have gone through this without you. I will continue to log in and give back support to others. I love you all. Love Emily

My prayers and deep thoughts go out to you and family Emily. Your strength will pull you through this difficult time and your sweet memories of your awesome mom will stay with you as long as you live. She was blessed to have a daughter like you and you were blessed to have a mother like her.

Emily:
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother.
Life can be so hard to bear at times. Somehow we go on, some with the help of Faith and all with difficulty and great determination.
My thoughts are with you, your father and all your family.

Hi Emily
I'm so glad all the necessary things are over. I know it must have been very difficult. Now helping your dad will also be difficult, but he really needs you. Above all though you need to take time for yourself. We appreciate that you will continue here but we also know that other things take #1 in your life. We will be happy with a few words now and then, we know you need to get on with your life. We truly appreciate you and will look forward to whenever you are able to join in and of course you know we all love you and are so happy to continue supporting you in your healing. Love always, Becky

Emily,
You were a blessing to your mother, and an inspiration to all who have ever cared for an elderly parent. Take care of YOURSELF, and bless your father as well.

I am going shopping with my dad later. Also it's his birthday this weekend. I'm having my family over so that we can all be together. I also contacted a bereavement group. I will need all the support I can get. Thank you Becky for always being there. Love Emily

Hi Emily I've posted this a few times before. Below is a good site in dealing with grief. Please understand you are in the early stages so some of this may not be appropriate at this time but I wanted to pass it along. I'm still dealing with the loss of my youngest sister a little over a year ago. I found a good website for creating a memorial for my sister. I found that helpful and I can visit whenever I want.: http://www.forevermissed.com/wanda-dillon/ You can add photos, music, slide shows, etc. and share it with friends/family across the web. I hope you find these helpful.
Hugs - Jim

A tough weekend
Hi Emily,
It sounds like you all have a rough weekend ahead. I am no expert but this will be your first time together doing "normal" and special things without your mom. It no doubt will be extra hard because no time has passed. Try to prepare and be as rested as possible. Then right back into the real world on Monday. That's tough, I'm so sorry. Thinking of you all. Becky
