I just donated my wig
and unexpectedly I felt quite emotional. I thought it would just be drop it off and that would be that. Since I am on Tamoxifen now and no longer get my periods, I can't chalk it up to being hormonal. You know you are weird when you can't explain your own emotions! LOL! Pretty sure the people there think that I am nuts as I was practically sprinting to get out of there!

I would imagine.......
.......they are used to it. It's nice that you donated your wig so don't feel ashamed for doing a good deed. Give yourself a pat on the back and imagine how relieved they were that it wasn't some kind of bomb since you were in such a hurry to get out of there. I think we should all get a pass on trying to explain our emotions.
HUGS!!!

Menopausal
Dear Clementine,
No, you can't chalk it up to PMS but you can chalk it up to being Menopausal. I think it's all the same thing.
You did a good deed for someone. They probably understood as more than likely they were in the same boat as we at one time.
Best to you,
Doris

I can't chalk it up to being menopausal. I guess even when you don't get your periods you can still be pre-menopausal in the world of Tamoxifen. Soooo, I guess it is just me being crazy. You guys are right though - I did something nice and if they had to deal with a crazy redhead for a few minutes, it isn't the end of the world (I will admit though that I plan on crosing the street if I am in the part of town again!!!).
Best,

...you're OUR Crazy Redhead, and we're happy to claim you -- whacked-out, Tamoxifen-crazed emotions and all.
If we're around next time when you have to cross to the other side of the street, we'll wave and holler, and I promise we'll embarrass you MUCH more than you could ever embarrass yourself! I mean, come on -- me + Victoria + VickiSam + Ayse -- we can do some DAMAGE, girl!
Big hug to you,
Traci

Traci, you are awesome! I am so sure you girls can do more than a little damage! I think I may have to start walking around with a paper bag on my head. LOL. Thanks for the big laugh.

wonderful thing you did and I know someone will sure appreciate it. As for being emotional, that is just a normal woman thing!

on 1 hand you are playing it forward, and on another hand you are getting on with your life - your new NORMAL - surreal, and emotional.

Georgia and Vicki Sam. Your support and encouragement over the years (can you believe it?) has been invaluable. You guys are all so great.
