in Lung Cancer #1

It's been awhile but I thought I would just check in on all of you.  Don't worry, I'm fine for right now;  July is my yearly scan time and in January I hit the 4 year mark!  Yikes and here I am to talk about it.  I see a lot of new names here and if I may impart a few words of wisdom...Do not let ANYONE and I mean anyone put an expiration date on you! Most things you read are old news already.  Stay connected to the forum; they will help you get up when you fall.  Never forget to believe, hope and FIGHT LIKE HECK!

    congratulations on achieving that milestone and thank you for sharing your story to give us hope.  I love the new picture.  Best wishes for at least 40 more!

    Those are very encouraging words and inspirational advice you are giving us new ones to the board.  I'm usually on the head and neck site, but have been having issues with probable mets to both lungs.  4 yrs., is wonderful news !  Congradulations !  Many, many more wished for you !   Katie

    medi so glad your back and and still cancer free and also looking great in new pic.  My  self had slight set back new tumor was found in Dec. in other lung,  went thru 4 treatments with cyberknife, will get pet-scan April 30th for results....... Will be 5 years in May since first dx............  Stay well old friend... Dan

    Looks like we will have to start throwing some good energy your way!  Hopefully it was just a leftover and will vacate the premises Wink.  You have done a great job so far, keepat it buddy!  Thanks for your kind words, actually thank you everyone for your kind words...
