Vicki
Has anyone heard from Vicki? I believe her spleen operation was a week ago. I'm just wondering how she is feeling.

How are you doing Wolfan?Vickilg said:I'm in pain
Hi there! Well I did fine with the pain while I was in the hospital but with the speen dying off, the pain is much worse. I have to sleep on back. They said it should take a week and I really hope so because this is no fun.
How are you doing Wolfan? Last I read you had a lot going on

Hubby going for Lung rad 9 of 10 today, then week of rest, then starts chemo. Unknown number of sessions. At some point, another scan, and hopefully on to the big guns, the awful H&N rads. Not looking forward to that. Just one day at a time here.
JBG has CT today and then appt.(not sure when) with onc to restart chemo.
I'm just the Mother Hen checking up on you. Hope that pain subsides soon and you're back on your feet. It took JBG a couple of extra weeks to get going again.
Off to next appt. now.
Luv,
Wolfen

Thinking of Vicki too... and several others
And you, too, Wolfen - wondering how things have been going for you and hubby and JBG. Sounds like things are underway for your husband. Vicki, glad to see you here posting and sorry to hear about the pain. I hope it eases soon and you get the desired results from this procedure. Hope to hear better news soon from both of you, and Johnnybegood. And I hope to hear from KayeKay and Doc and several others who have been MIA. I know KayeKay just had surgery, and Doc is having a rough time. Thinking of all of you.

I am of course sad that you are expeireincing so much pain, and hope that the 'week' passes quickly and you will find yourself more comfortable.
Happy that you have posted.
Follow Doctor's orders and make sure you are spoiled rotten by those around you who love you.

Hope they gave you some decent pain pills to help you get through this. AA

Hi everyone. Thank you for the comments. The reason to do the partial was due to the least amount of interruption to chemo as possible. Also removing only partial it helps to not get sick. Me and JBG are going to compare notes so we can have advice for anyone that may need it. Much love everyone!
