Love the Pacific!!
Should be getting my MJ card next couple days. Went through the hospital rather than the "commercial" MJ doctors. Why not save myself a hundred bucks? There are several boxes that I can clearly check hard as valid justification and it is far easier when you have hard procedures you just pull from the state and county health web sites. States that have not moved this direction are really backwards in the 21st century.
My OWN view on this topic. In our very difficult treatment regimens, doctors and patients freely give and accept really hard and dangerrous drugs just because they are prescribed and hide behind the big pharma companies that push and peddle drugs "legally". So you start on Vikoden, graduate to Oxycodoe, then onto morphine, then join the big league of fentanyl patch land, starting and increasing the micrograins as needed/desired to manage the pain. Levels so great that if you take too hot or long a shower or bath you OD. Now that makes sense. Then the good doctor starts weaning you off the heavy drugs to manage your withdrawl symtoms, no different than a street heroin addict; yet, we cast dispursions about the street druggie while some afford to hid behind the clean medical shield doing far worse.
Where is the logic NOT to add MJ to the legal list? I wonder who in this capitalistic society would suffer with such a drug added to the officaial list of medications that can be dispensed by the medical community? humm....

Awesome news Joe! Thanks for sharing the update. Keep 'em coming!
LOL donfoo - who would suffer? The list is HUGE - so needless to say this is off the top of my head and not comprehensive: Prison industry from guards to food delivery to janitorial, Paper industry, Clothing industry, Fuel industry, Big Pharma. What started as a policy of blatant ignorance and racism has evolved into a policy of lies and massive vested interest in the status quo. Meanwhile good people suffer, Rick Simpson goes to jail and people pass away earlier and in much more pain than necessary.

Gone, nada, none.
Bit of a concern with fluid in the lung from aspirating but I can deal with that.
Another six weeks and then a PET.
Thanks everyone for the support.
Joe
Congrats on the NED. I would probably get used to the aspirating, especially if your ENT removed allot of tissue in the back of your throat. I just had a CT last Friday and Radiologist and Onco agree on my spots that showed up resemble aspiration.
I hope to see a photo of you and your son at a game this year. Make it a Tiger Cardinal game.
Best
Mike

Thanks everyone
I'm glad this hurdle is past. Now, just need to get to solid food. My Onc told me not to try and eat anything till the Speech Therapist (swallow) tells me I have the aspiration under control. Not too happy right now but realize why.
Thanks again everyone,
Joe
