Scanned Today-Results Tomorrow-UPDATED
Well, had my scan today and my Onc went all out. CT of the neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis. Now I have 24 hours to make it though. Man I wish I lived in medical marijuana land.

brownies for all my friends
Hey Joe!
Hope your well and you find nothing on these scans! My first scan won't be untill the end of April and I will have MRI of head and neck and CT of chest. I feel very good but my fingernails are very short in anticipation of scans.
This is me and my son last year at the Tigers game. We watched the Rockies get their rear ends handed to them. Looking forward to a great summer.

Well....I know it doesn't do much
good to tell you to relax...that's it's going to be good.....I know precisely how impossible that is to do. So I'll skip telling you to relax, and just jump ahead and tell you that you're going to be NED....yes, yes, yes you are.

Thinking you won't need the crutch
Best of luck tomorrow. They always make me wait 2 weeks for the results and after the first 2 scans 2 weeks seemed like 2 years. After my 3rd PET Scan my surgeon did say I could have called a day or two after the scan and they would give me the results but I've gotten use to the suspense
If you rolled one now you may still be on cloud 9 tomorrow for the results.

Joe,

Glad for NED, it must be incredibly rewarding and relieving to know all that the treatment regimens do to your body and mind were worth fighting these battles. You have demonstrated courage under fire and I admire your inner strength. The most intense part of the war is over yet there are still live mines and other sources of potential collateral damage. Stay alert and focused and you will march off the battlefield in one piece. God be with you Joe. don

Special feeling
Joe
Isn't that one of the best feelings you ever had? I brought alot of work home with me tonight but I had to take a minute to check for your good news. I will always remember the first time I was told that the cancer was gone. My wife and I left HUP and went to the parking garage, I went to call my son who lives in Florida and I lost it. The best cry I ever had. Matter of fact I can feel it building now just thinking about it. Life is good.
Enjoy the day..................I do..................every one of them
