just realized "5" more months
If all goes as planned in 5 mths I should be taken OFF tamoxifen. Seems like I just started it-and now down to months left..!

Great
It's always exciting to reach a milestone in treatments. I just started on tamoxifen in early August. So far it is going quite well. My oncologist plans to switch me to a different drug midway through the five-year plan.
I would think that if this is it, as far as your treatments, then you will really need to celebrate.

Since I'm in my first yr of Tamoxifen, the 5 yr mark seems far away. I'm sure you're right about the time going fast though. I wonder if I'll be as afraid to come off as I was to start it! Linda

The only date so far that really stands out to me is June 28,08 my last radiation and soon it will be AUG XX last tomoxifen (I HOPE)

I've never taken tamox, but, wishing you a congrats 5 months early!
