Giving pics another try...ToBeGolden said:Agree
You know I agree. However, in my case both my wife and I are too sick to invite another animal into our lives. So We will enjoy the stories of your companions, and the memories of the companiouns that have blessed our lives. Rick.

P51,
Well, you are very welcome. I have to give some credit to my coach and mentor Doctor Skiffen who back on December 22, 2012 said “click the tree”.
What a beautiful Mojo, I bet he got a kick out of you, I know we do.
Happier times,
Matt

Phrannie, your right, tough to lose a pet during a rough journey. He looks like he was definately the king of the castle and so handsome too. Funny how quickly they take a role in our lives and in most cases how quickly we altar or change our routine to accommodate them. Losing Duggie just after my radiation was really hard because I had to much death in my life at that time. Two months before I was diagnosed with cancer my Dad for no apparent reason decided to commit suicide. I had a real rough time with that and upon being told I had throat cancer I couldn’t help thinking I may get a chance real soon to ask him why he did it. But I fought like hell to beat cancer’s **** and lost Duggie right at the end of treatment. So I started a new life with a new friend, my Kasie. Life is good.
Enjoy the day…………….I do……….every one of them

Kasie...What a punim!Duggie88 said:My Duggie
Katie
My screen name says it all. We had a Golden Retreiver named Duggie he was 14 when I was diagnosed with cancer and his health was failing. He actually made a bit of a comeback until my last day of radiation and slid to the point were we had to put him down. My wife always said he wanted to stay around to make sure I made it through it all. It hurts to even think of him now. I always said I wanted no other dog because it just wouldn't be the same but three months later the day after my first PET Scan we got Kasie a Yellow Lab who has been my bud ever since. The day we brought him home his first romp in the yard was right over to where we buried Duggie in the woods he sniffed around looked up at me then proceeded to explore more of his domaine. He was definately a big part of my therapy. The picture is Kasie
Enjoy the day
Jeff
I keep coming back to this thread to look at this pic. It's got to be the best doggie face I've seen in a while. That's a melt your heart punim for sure! (punim is Yiddish for face).

I was trying to do it like Kari (that did work at one time)...copy and paste from photobucket, but not anymore.....I love that pic!! Cats and dogs together are wonderful! When I first got MoJo our cat was about 8....and had "trained" other dogs in the house how a cat should be treated. I had a German Shepherd, a Rottie/Pit/Lab cross, and a Westie when David was a baby....he took a liking to Ike my GSD ....from the day he was born (under my bed), Ike would bring him out into the living room....even the mama cat trusted Ike to care for him. Ike never liked strange people much, but he was SO good with other four footed friends....I even trusted him with the rabbit.
this is when Dave was a baby and Ike was his main babysitter.

That is so precious ! Tiger had been the only 4 legged person in the house for 5 years and needless to say he was not at all happy when Honey came to stay . It was several years before they became friends . Thanks again John for all you do !!! What a blessing this site is ! Peggy
