pain on right side hip/back
Hi Everyone,
I'm a stage IV colon cancer with mets to liver. I was dx in May '09. I have since onco's and hospital I was at. I was with the first onco for 1 1/2 years and they told me I couldn't have surgery on liver and never had surgery on colon resection. Also, I never saw a liver specialist. I went to see no onco and told her everything and she pretty much disagreed with everything the other onco did and said. She also studied under him! She couldn't believe I had not saw a liver specialist. So basically we started froms scratch. I went and saw liver specialist and without any thing having been done yet. He said he could do surgery on my liver. I was put on very agressive chemo and within one month I had dramatic results with shrinkage. So in November had colon resection and also rfa on my liver. I was cancer free for about 9 months. It came back and I stared another regimen. I was able to go back to work which was good for me cuz I was a mental case for being off work for a year. Anyways, in November i had a scan and everything is good.
This is where i need to ask for help. This isn't the first time but I am having pain on my right side hip and back pain. I have anxiety and panic attacks and I know stress can do a lot of things to the body and I have been under extreme stress in these past few weeks. I have been feeling like I need to go the br and then it's either gas or like a turd. ( sorry tmi) Or i have normal stools. and sometimes it's not.
Has anyone had this issue? I'm very scared that my cancer is back. I see onco one week from this thursday. Please if anyone has any answers or ideas, please let me know.
Thanks,
Actsassy

possibly
I had right side/ back pain and it was my gall bladder. My onc kept telling me it couldn't be gall bladder because I didn't have fever or nausea. Wrong!
Ask about that when you go in and good luck!

I already had my gallbladder removed years ago. Do you think stress can do this?
