Thinking and Missing ChenHeart tonight
Sending well wishes for our dear Chen. I miss her so much! I remember when I was a newbie here and reading her "Welcome to Hogwarts." It so perfectly captured how I was feeling.
I wish there was something I could do to ease her way and help her heal. This horrible disease makes us so helpless sometimes. But Chen, please know we love you and are thinking of you and praying for you. Big, big, big (((hugs)))!!!

I am feeling the same way
I too miss our dear ChenHeart. She was always full of good advise and had such a way with words. She was often the calming influence when our decisions got a little heated. I loved her hogwarts analogy. She was the one who started the ornaments exchange. I remember that I was so overwhelmed that 1st year and wrote about how much I was enjoying everyone's ornaments but that I hadn't gotten involved. The next thing I knew she had my address and sent me an ornament. It did so much for me. She is going through so much right now and I have a feeling that it is not going so well. I have a cancle burning for her and my prayers are for her family and her. I hope that her pain is being controlled and that she gets better. But if that is not to be I hope that she knows nothing but peace and gentlemess. I love all our gals here but there are always going to those one's that touch our hearts in a special way. Moopy was one of those for me and so is ChenHeart. Dear Claudia you are so loved and I hope that you feel all the kind thoughts and gentle prayers that are being said for you. It would be nice if all of us can share one of their special thoughts about her. Maybe Shiobban or Reggie will read them and share them with her.
Cynthia thank you for your post. It said so much.
For me, Claudia is indeed the 50 foot woman of her avatar. She was one of the first people who connected with me. I admire her spirit, her strength, her advice and her character. She is one of the shining lights of this board.

100% In Agreement!
I 100% agree that Claudia/Chenheart is one of the most exceptional woman to have grace this discussion board.
It's only 10:30 AM and am exhausted already, both Cynthia and Stef have said it so well. I wanted to add my own statement.
I think of her plight and wonder why this heinous disease makes people go through all these awful hoops.
Hoping so hard that the detoxification will work and give you some better days.
Best to you Claudia,
Doris

Two of the many words that come to mind when I think of Claudia are grace and strength. You are an amazing woman, Chen, and are in my nightly prayers and thoughts. I feel so honored to have gotten to meet her a couple of summers ago. She definitely makes the world a better place.
Love and huge hugs, Renee

She is indeed the 50 foot woman that her avatar portrayed her as. Chenheart was the first person that I ever heard use the term "Kindred Spirits to refer to the members on this board and to me it always seemed to be so fitting a name for how I fell about her and every one here. I respect and admire her for her grace, wisdom and strength. She is in my thoughts almost every day. Hoping and praying for her as always.
Hugs

My tribute to Chenheart
For a very special lady who touched so many....and for the newbies here so they may get to know Chen a little...here is her 'Hogwarts' post.
So many new ones have joined our family of Kindred Spirits lately~we sigh that you have had to find us, but of course welcome you with open ♥
You may have noticed, or even posted about the fact that many of our friends, family members, co-workers and neighbors just don't "get it" and make what seem to be ( and sometimes ARE!) insensitive, rude, and dismissive comments about us and how we look, etc.
You don't know me well, but if you hang around the boards long enough, you will notice 2 things about me~I "steal" quotes that I like and apply them to our lives regularly, and I also liken our lives to books/movies! Who knew we would be Stars?! :-) And today, we are friends and schoolmates with no less than Harry Potter and Hermione and the entire gang!
So~ welcome to CSN, also known as Hogwarts~ the boarding school for witches and wizards! Like you, we were truly surprised when we realized that we would be leaving the lives we had known to enter a place so strange and unknown to us. Upon arriving, we were shocked to see how many witches and wizards already live here~ we thought it would be a tiny place, and that we would be isolated and alone. But No! Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, along with a host of professors surrounded us. Though it was frightening being the new one, we looked to the upperclassmen, those graduating, wondering if we would ever survive the curriculum.
Eventually, we settled in, and made good friends with other witches and wizards! Turns out, it's alot like any old school, after all! We know who the smart ones are, the social butterflies, the competitive one, the shy ones, the troubled ones, etc. We come into "home room", say hello to everyone, and hang out with our friends!
Our aforementioned families/friends/coworkers who don't "get it" are, of course, The Muggles. It isn't their fault~they are not part of the Hogwart student body and they really don't know quite how to relate to us. They look at us through different eyes, they are a bit afraid of us, puzzled by changes they see in us, and they want us back the way we were BEFORE we were tapped by the faculty at Hogwarts. Some of our Muggle family members are proud of the achievements we make, and they don't mind meeting our classmates. But some...well, they distance themselves and can't bring themselves to stay connected . It is discouraging...
So, take your seat here at Hogwarts! Know that those here with you are very much like you in ways you never imagined. You are indeed different, but that doesn't make you any less valuable. Educate yourself while you are here, and join in with the extra-curricular activities ! We exchange holiday ornaments, we celebrate birthdays, we visit each other, and most of all, we communicate and connect in important, life-long ways.
Oh, and feel free to borrow the notes and books you find here~ we are all willing to share what we learned in the previous semesters!! Asking questions and copying is actually encouraged!
Hugs,
Chen♥0 -

Thinking of Chenheart as
Thinking of Chenheart as well! She is such a dear and I miss her posts. It has been sad to see her slowly slip into the backseat on the board. However she is never forgotten and constantly in my prayers.
