Good news!

You might want to try Omega-3 fish oil for your bones and joints  you need to take it every day for several months to acieve improvement.

Hi Molly,

I know about cysts.  I spent a weekend going crazy when the a 6 months ct scan after my first chemo and on tamoxifen showed a lesion on my liver.  A closer look with an ultra sound said it was a cyst.  

I have had cysts on my ovaries and one on my thryoid.  I have learned to disregard them as they seem to go no where and no one other than myself even notices them on scan reports.

Ct scans kept showing a kidney stone near my kidney so when it began to move down my kidney, I knew exactly what was happening.  Not a fun way to spend an evening either.  

I read all the fine print and know that for me, it is very important.  The one with the liver lesion was all I heard.  I kept thinking the cancer had returned and it hadn't.   There were two other areas of concern.  One was endometrial thickening as I was on Tamoxifen.   This proved to be a problem 4 years later and eventually a D&C took care of the uterus filled with polyps.   The other one was that the hernia mesh had ripped.  That was the reason for the pain; as my intestines would go through the rip and twist and then return back to it's normal position.  I had to have a new mesh put in.   I have learned to look at the whole as my doctors will only be concerned with their specialties.  The pain with twisted intestine was horrid and as the mesh continued to rip more, the pain was more frequent.

If you have areas of concern, please see your primary doctor, there the one's that seem concerned with those "other areas".

I usually check a medical dictionary and not having one at home, I go find one online.  Here is the definition for the word: scintigraphic
