Welcome HomeHellieC said:Great news
I'm just back from holiday and catching up with threads. Have been hoping and praying that Mary Ann would be home. Such good news that she's well enough to be back where she belongs and where she can regain her strength. Chester really shouldn't have picked a fight with such a strong lady - he is bound to come off worst once a new treatment plan is forged.
Mary Ann - when you're feeling strong enough to read these posts, you will realise how many people are out here batting for your team and willing you back to health every day. You are an amazing lady!
Helen
Keep up fighting spirit and Chester will limp away from mighty Sheriff Arness as per Gunsmoke of old.
keep well,

Hi Mary Ann!
I have been following Ro's posts regarding your recent struggles (what a great friend!) and am overjoyed to hear you are finally home.
Hope all is going well...
I wanted to let you know that despite you being out of commission I have gained so much knowledge from your posts. I read alot of what you had written about what you learned in your food classes and it has been very helpful to me in learning about what I need to get off in the right direction nutrition=wise.
Take care. I'll be thinking of you.

She is getting stronger, but not bouncing back as quick as she had hoped. She has a new plan, and she thought she would be up to posting soon. She appreciates all your thoughts and prayers. Just wanted to let you know she should be returning soon. Please keep her in your prayers.
hope you are all having a good weekend. In peace and caring.

Thank you for posting, Mary Ann is in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear she has a plan in place, and I look forward to her posts.
Best to you, and have a great weekend also... we still have plenty of snow on the ground here in New York, the blizzard dropped 30" of snow and the drifts were 4 to 5 feet. Got plenty of exercise digging out!

When Mary Ann posts again, we're liable to crash the system welcoming her back!

I was hoping she would be posting something by now. I was going to meet her on Sunday, but she has been having some GI issues. They kicked in that day, so we were unable to get together.
she did e-mail me and said Tuesday went well. I was hoping she would be posting her plans. She was getting stronger, but not sure what the chemo will do to her.

Happy to hear she's up and moving about. Yes you're a snowbird in FL and Mary Ann lives there...how fun!!! We just got hit with 5-11" of snow in midwest (St Louis) so I'm dreaming of warm weather and the beach. What part of FL are you located?
Did review the first posting and seems like she was to meet oncologist first part of Feb. Assuming back on treatments and yes anxious to hear the plans.
Hugs,
Jan

I am in Treasure island. We were going to visit friends in Bonita Springs and passing through where Mary Ann lives.
Quincy IL got 8 inches of snow. Glad we are not there.
looks like Rudy posted something tonight, but I could not find it.
Keep warm .

Ro, I believe Rudy posted in the above thread - last post.
I did find his post asking about a clinical trial.
i was hoping he was sharing more information about Mary Ann. I wish that topics would be closed for posting after a period of time. When someoneousts on older posts a lot of the information is not pertinent any more. The posts can be difficult to find, too.
