The sad fact is that some do fall for this kind of stuff.  Maybe not this particular one, but, they do fall prey for other scams.

And, I think scams are on the rise with the economy and all of the new tech stuff anymore. 

I will send them a note back and ask that they send me my millions on good faith.  LOL  I am sure I will be receiving my millions then.

I saw a program on this once.  20/20 or something in that line and if I remember correctly, those people kept moving around their country so were hard to catch.  People unfortunately send them money.  

My son had one of those FBI warnings scams.  It stated that you must send them money via paypal.  Since it was his first time, they wouldn't report him to the FBI unless the money was received within 48 hours.  He had to take his computer to a local tech and it cost him money to have his laptop re-imaged and put on a new firewall.  He didn't keep up with the firewalls.  He showed me what it looked like and it looked real.

I went online typed in "FBI scam" and of course found lots of informatin.  One did say to try certain key combos but it didn't work.

Well, keep hoping they make a mistake Susie and send you a little $$$.  I wish them carpal tunnel syndrome.  How is that for a revengeful curse!

I saw those shows also Denise and it was really sad how those women got scammed.  There are some really bad people out there that take advantage of some. 

I only got a text saying I won 2 tickets to the Bahamas.....lol

I have gotten some of those too, but, I never sent any money ( like I really would lol ) and never received any money.  Maybe it is just held up somewhere and I will still become a millionaire.  HA

Dr. Phil had a woman on the other day that had sent, I think, about $180,000 to someone that she had been emailing to on one of those dating sites.  It was so sad as Dr. Phil pointed out and proved that that person was not real, but, the poor woman didn't totally believe him.  I think she was so far into it financially, that she just didn't want to know that she had been scammed.

 

I saw that Dr. Phil show too Pink Rose and just could not believe how that woman still believed that guy was real and I think was still going to send him more money.

I just sat there with my mouth open as I just couldn't believe her.
