dealing with lobectomy
I had upper left lobectomy April 2011. I am 53 with stage 3A. After two years of surgery, still I feel squeeze tight in my left section breast. Anyone out there can help me with this, is it normal? BTW, in 2011 my oncologist Dr. told me my survival rate would be 5 years and last year he said because for a year after chemo no sign of cancer is observed, it should be 7 to 10 years. Any idea about this issui.

Welcome to CSN
Very sorry you have to go through this. Please talk to your doctor about the pain, it sounds like nerve pain. My doctor gave me gabapentin and it works very well.
5 years used to be the average but new therapies have increased that. This is the first I have heard a doctor say anything more.
