i'm feeling soooo much better!!! doing exercise of several different types, and feeling stronger every day. my 3-month checkup with the onc is next month and my next PET scan is in june, but i feel confident that my lymphoma has gone away. better living through chemotherapy, indeed! i feel singularly fortunate in my support network, my medical care, and in the availability of post-tereatment programs in san francisco. my advice to anyone: if you have to get cancer, get lymphoma, and do it in san francisco!

I agree with Jim andHi V,
I agree with Jim and Liz...you look "great" and I love your fantastic attitude! Enjoy every day and keep us posted on your continued success! My last Rituxan infusion is Friday and then CT scan the first of March...hopefully I will get the green light that all is well! I can't believe how fast time has gone by and now finally I'm at the end of the 2 year maint treatments! (knock on wood)!! "YEAH"! Much love...Sue

Hi Liz,
Your so sweet, and yes...I will take all the prayers I can get. I'm anxious to get the last infusion finished, but on the same hand, I'm anxious NOT to have any more treatment at all....does that make sense? I think the Rituxan has given me a false sense of security with feeling like as long as I'm getting it, I'm going to stay healthy and not relapse, but once I stop, the cancer will pop back up. I think once my scan is done and "God" willing all is good, I will feel more comfortable about everything. I think I've used Rituxan as my security blanket for the last 2 years...ha! . Thanks for caring Liz....Love...Sue

Hi Sweet Sue,
I understand what you're saying, I think we all go through those emotions. I haven't reached that point yet but I know it will come one day. Just like we always say, one day at a time and enjoy life at the moment! That's all any of us can do right! Take care lovely lady (((HUGS))) and stay positive. Everything will be ok!
Sincerely,
Liz

You!
V-
Well you are just a burst of fresh energy! Congratulations and good work! You have embraced this "new normal" and just ran with it. (literally too!)
i am like you in the belief that exercise is a huge component of our recovery and general well being. Great medical care and support from family and friends does round it out.
I'm in PR and see my onc every three months- watchful waiting. I'll take it.
All the best to you!!
