Tina Brown
It is with such regret to let you know that Tina has passed away. I had just gone to her facebook page to see if there was an update and I read the sad news.
I had the privilege to meet Tina twice and she was a fine young lady who will be missed.

I am so so sad! Tina has been an inspiration to so many of us on this board. She helped me hugely through my first year facing this. Our world is a poorer place without her.

Strength and Sadness
Tina gave us all such kind words of encouragement and strength. Her knowledge and willingness to share is what has brought us together. I am so sad at this loss but will continue to check in and support our friends here who find strength in each other. Prayers.

RIP
I am very saddened by this news! When my mum was first diagnosed with stage4 ppc met to lungs, Tina's messages were the first few I have read. Her posts gave us strength to keep fighting and when I made an account on this forum recently, I left a personal message to her and didn't get a reply. Now I know why so so sad. RIP Tina.

All I know is that she had been in hospital for several weeks with vomiting and they couldn't find the cause. They thought it might have been a bowel obstruction but that was the last I heard. Next thing I know she had passed away suddenly.
I had met her twice while visiting London and she was so bubbly and cheerful.

Thank you, Jenny, for letting us all know. I am so shocked. I haven't been checking this discussion thread for a month or so and just did not realize she was in hospital. Tina was
one of the first people I corresponded with on this board. She will be missed. She is at peace.

Not Tina
Hi Jenny, thank you for telling us. My first reaction was Oh no- not Tina! As many of you have said, Tina was the first person on the board to answer my questions, she reassured me when doubting and I am sure that her comments and encouregement did make my mum to fight a little longer in her battle against this cancer. Though mum is not with us anymore as from october last year, I still go in here now and then and think about you all that are fighting. Keep it up! Let Tinas soul RIP and keep up her good work on this board! I hope you all will make it through and as long as ypu possibly can!
Lots of love,
Sophie, Sweden
