Hi, still here
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to stop in and say that I am thinking of you all. I do try and read throught the posts every few days, but finding time and energy to post is so elusive.
We are in wedding planning crunch time. The big day for my daughter is March 2. Still lots of final details to sort out. I even hired a wedding planner to help me, but as the mother of the bride, well there is just a lot to do. And having a daughter who has her bridezilla moments, well it's tiring. Ugh!
Health wise, I am still very tired and in need of some more blood. I have been putting it out of my mind and hoping that I can hold out till after the big day. Pain is ever present and that is hard to take. I just never expected it to be so much for so long. I will be getting scans and starting back with all the doc visits after the wedding. Considering all the cancer and surgeries I have had, this one has really done a number on me. Maybe I am just getting old, but wow this has been so hard.
I hope all of you are hanging in the best you can, I know you are doing your best, as you all are such a strong and amazing group of women!
For those of you on the east coast, stay safe and warm. This to shall pass..
I miss chatting with you all, and promise to try and find more time after we get this daughter married..
Huge hugs
Lisha

Hi Lisha!
I've been wondering how you are doing. Thanks so much for checking in with us and congratulations on your daughter's upcoming wedding. As the mother of the bride, I can only imagine what you're going through now with wedding preparations and also trying to deal with all that while not feeling up to par. Once the wedding is over, I hope you have a chance to really rest and I hope your doctors can lessen your fatigue and pain. I'm so sorry you are still suffering.
Thanks again for taking the time to check in. You are an amazing woman. I admire your strength and caring spirit.
Big hugs,
Kelly

Hi Kelly,
Thank you for the nice words.
These days I go back and forth between feeling like I can't do one more tiny thing and then felling pretty proud of myself for doing it anyway.
I think the fatigue is the hardest for me. My brain is tired along with my body. once the wedding is over, it will have been three months since I had any scans, so I am enjoying the brief break from all the machines of medical wonder!
I hope you are feeling well.
Huge hugs to you

Isn't it nice to have a break from being poked, prodded, x-rayed and scanned?! Sometimes the fatigue feels like it's kicking your butt and somehow you find the strength to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. I'm hoping and praying that the fatigue and pain diminish for you soon and that 2013 is a good year for you!
Take care,
Kelly
