Haven't been on the site so much lately. Is partly about business and life but I think alsoabout recovery and my tendency to use this site less when cancer is less the focus of my life.i think it is a natural process for many of us and in manyalways healthy butalso feel a bit bad to use the site In such a selfish way. Hope to continue to pop in from time to time butlikely to be less active as other parts of life takeover again.

Am doing generally wel.some trouble with bits of my wound not healing but generally getting stronger and healthier. Meeting with occ health to talk about return to work and been up to London twice to start the process of getting a prosthesis at a specialist centre there. Plan to be admitted end of feb for 1-3 weeks ffee fitting, adjustments and learning to use it with the plan to come home with a leg at the end. May not use it that much asvery mobile on crutches and the leg will be hard going and clumsy but do think I want to give it a real go to see where it fits in my life as it now is. Got used to having the two stomas and they are working fairly well and at presentno signcancer panzer so pretty pleased overall.

Has beenthehardest time of my life for certain considering I was forecast to die this year I can only be happy with how it has gone. Off to Amsterdam next weekend with my wife to celebrate my fortieth birthday which is not something I would have done with my symptoms as they were preop.

Anyway, thank you so much for the enquiry and I will still lurk on the site even if i participate a little less,

I certainly don't think you are using this forum selfishly, and I'm sure your friends here don't think so either. 

Its wonderful that life can go on as we move through and past our treatments. I think we all appreciate where we are , and remember those whose journey came to an end.
