Well Dawne got the results of the PET yesterday. It was not what we had wanted to hear. The cancer between her lungs has grown again. Her last scan had shown it getting a little smaller but, it had grown this time. The good new is that it has NOT spread anywhere else. That is good!! She does have gall stones, and the Dr can see something on her liver. She will be having the gall bladder removed probably at some point but I am not sure on when. This is what I know for now. Dawne is still ready to fight!! We all know how tired she has to be but she is ready for battle! Please keep her and her family in your prayers. I will post again when I have more to share. Dawne thinks of you all often and lifts you in prayer. God Bless

    to Dawne and her family.  I miss her posts.  She is always so positive and uplifting and I pray that she stays that way.   My heart hurts reading this latest news but I know Dawne will fight cuz she just doesn't know how to give up.  God Bless you, Dawne.  I am continuing to keep you in my prayers.  I wish I was closer so I could help out somehow.

    We all think of her too

    We all think of Dawne also and wonder how she's doing. The news of the cancer staying in one place is good to hear. I can understand her wanting to continue to fight. There's still a good chance all this will be in remission. That is my prayer.She goes in remission soon after more treatment. 

    Hope what the doctor sees on her liver is nothing and she gets over that sugery with her gall bladder without any problems.

    Dawne is very special to me. 

    Dawne is very special to me.  She was dx'd with IBC shortly after I was.  Thank you for staying in touch with her and letting us know how she is doing.  I am so sorry to hear that the damned beast is growing in her lung.  And the gall bladder on top of that...at least they have a solution for the gall bladder.  Like Kay, I miss her here.  Please give Dawne my love.

    oh sweet Dawne..

    I have missed Dawne and often think of her.

    I'm sadden to hear about the growth but I am happy that there isn't any other spread (Amen to that). And especially glad that she is still strong and staying positive and has the desire to keep fighting -  not that I was expecting anything different from Dawne.

    Please let her know that I will do a special prayer for her recovery and that we miss her. Thank you for keeping us updated.
