Just a Quick Update
Hello everyone,
I just thought I would give a quick update on my recovery. I'm 6 weeks post treatment and back to work for the past 2 1/2 weeks. I'm doing well..skin is easy to irritate but overall doing good. I'm not on any meds at this point including no Imodium and seem to be what appears to be normal other than the still no dairy and I learned this weekend, no fried eggs. I have weak spells but they pass quickly and I rest when I feel I need it. I spoke with a urologist today because of my urethrea issue and she told me everything is ok and I have nothing major to worry about. The problem is tight muscles and sensitive genital skin which should improve over time. She has scheduled me for some pelvic floor physical therapy which should bring me back to normal over time. She told me to not use Aquaphor at this point but to convert to pressed coconut oil. She said it was far better for skin rejuvenation and moisture recovery.
I'm very grateful to say the least and praying for those of you still active in the process. I have my first biopsy/colonoscopy on Feb 8th. I'll update again then.
Much love..Gigi
