Prayers worked/UPDATE
I asked for everyone to pray for my daughter-in-law.The very next morning she responded to the nusre.Thank You Thank You Thank You to everyone. The nurse said her name and asked her is Kelly your name. She Nodded YES.Our son asked her questions. He asked her where he worked."She said you tell me".Then he asked her where her grandpa worked and she told him.She knew where grandpa worked Some laughs but laughs of joy. She seems a little impatient but it's funny.I told my son ask your dad"since I had this bronchitis it seems I am more irritable than I used to be.It lasted to long and still some problems. She is going to question all this as time goes on and wonder what happened. Our son is talking therapy. She isn't ready to get up and walk. And also some memory loss.
They are sending a test off to France for a well known doctor there. Still a little unsure why all this happened.I feel her fevers of 104 and 106 didn't help. That is to high and very scary.
Again Thank You ALL for the prayers.Miracles happened. My son told me after the miracle he wasn't sure about the outcome. He just never said it.But we all were getting worried.
My prayer is for ALL the Pink Sisters(and others fighting cancer) to go in remission.Treatment kicks in and works,FOREVERwith no recurrance. My annual mammo is soon and I'm worried.A year this time before it was every 6 months.

Hoping Docs Figure Out The Cause, Soon!
Dear Lynne,
I hope your Kelley's doctors will figure out what caused this awful scarry episode in her life.
I worked with a woman who became sick with an unknown, she was moved from the local hospital to the biggest in our area and went into a coma. She was flown to a major hospital out of state. The doctors told her husband that she had something called PML which is always fatal. It had been about a month at this point. Her husband gave permission to withdraw her medication, food and etc. He went home to pick up the will and etc while their daughter sat by her mother's bedside working on the obituary. The mother wakes up and wonders where she is and what had happen. Withdrawing the medication is what made things better. She was slowly being poisoned by one onf her drugs. She has rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. Once the medication was stopped her body was able to cope. It took a while to get back on her feet. She is fine today.
I am a agnostic and believe strongly that everything has an answer. In due time, we often learn what caused the problem. I never did 6 month mammograms, only yearly ones. I wish you well and more than likely your mammo will be alright. Hoping things will improve quickly for your daughter-in-law and that she will be back home with her family very soon.
Best,
Doris

Thanks for letting us know, Lynn. Hoping for her to get home soon. Linda
Sirod. I know what you mean. They are doing so many tests my head spins. Today my son was down.It seems to be a bad day for her. They sent the test off to Spain and hope they hear something soon. They have taken her off every med.Still has pneumonia. Just a bad night after talking to my son.He is so tired. He'd just love to go in and talk to her.Last night I know he felt progression coming then today she didn't say anything. She ate some apple sauce but tomorrow they are going down her throat and also do a Xray to see if it went into her lungs.I still know the prayers are working and I thank everyone. It's just going to take awhile.I remember being sick a few times myself.Very sick and in the hospital.I just prayed.Just a simple sweet prayer and it worked.
They are looking for a autoimmune problem. They don't know what else. Interesting about the lady who snapped out of it just when they decided she never would.

Prayers do work and I am so happy that ours helped your daughter in law! I will keep praying for her!
Sue
Daughter in law was on life support for 5 weeks. She was taken off last week. Now this week she is in another hospital learning how to walk.Something about body mass weakens with being imobile for so long. She can't remember things so there will be therapy for that. She didn't remember her 3 chi's names and she loves those dogs. Can't remember where our son works.I think though now she will be on the way to a full recovery. What we hope for. My son is beat down and so is her poor mom.Our grandson got so depressed he had to stay away from there after they brought her back to life a couple times. It took to much out of him.
Prayers worked.Doctors couldn't and have yet to figure it out.The doctors from Mayo and the doctor from Spain didn't know what was wrong after her tests were sent to them,I truly believe the high fevers of 106 caused it.
Will let everyone know when she goes home FINALLY and her outcome with therapy. I think it will take another month. The hospital she's at now is much closer. Not a 1 1/2 hour drive. It's Only 20 minutes.
It's rare for someone to get this bad. After seeing all the young children and others who've died from this virus our daughter in law is very very fortunate to be here today. When there's a chance to tell her she'll feel so blessed. I think it will change her in some ways.

She's homeKristin N said:How wonderful! Thank you
How wonderful! Thank you Lynn for updating us and how is she doing now?
She's home but she went to her mother's not back to their home. She's not ready to take on life yet.She is so confused. It's hard.My son is beat down. Her sugar was low the other day and back to the hospital. She kept throwing up.She's swelling from steroids(not sure why she's taking those).Maybe the pneumonia is lasting. Nothing was found about her tests sent to Spain or Mayo Clinic.Mayo didn't know and doctors heard nothing from Spain. Guess she was very sick.CRITICAL
I Can't wait till she's back home with my son and grandson. They need to have their life back. It's just going to be awhile. This is also hard for her mom and dad. With their age I feel it's going to take alot out of them. But you do what you have to do.
I still shed tears. Just been to long and unpredictible.

Still at her
Still at her mom's. The last hospital(the 3rd one) she developed a bed sore. This hospital was closer to home and she was getting back on her feet. They had to operate on the bed sore before her release. Now she has a nurse coming to her mom's house every other day.The bed sore was very deep in her leg.She still has some confusion but we're looking at her being at her mom's another month. All this happened because of pneumonia/kidney infection and high fevers.
Hope it's all back to normal soon.My son is with her at her mom's and trying to keep their place up with cleaning and taking care of their 3 little dogs.Grandson does some to help but he has friends and work so he's on the go alot. It's going to work out but we have to be patient. It's going to take awhile. It's got to be her pace.
