You can do it at least two ways that I know of Phrannie...

    Using the tree icon (insert/edit image), do the following;

click the tree icon, (for an image you have saved on your computer)

click image URL (the browse button right side)

    click the upload (top left)

File (browse..., where you have the file stored)

Upload (this puts it in a folder of yours on CSN) close the box for upload

click the file you want to post, the Insert File (top right)

put in an image description and title, then insert

    MOJO

    MoJo, Phrannies Big Boy

This will insert the image into your post...

You can click the image and size it also if you want..

You can use the same method with a few differences for Photobucket using the Direct Link is actually better than I first told you.

    Da Boy!

Indeed, pets enhance our lives in ways beyond description. To those that have furry friends in their lives, they are loved as much as our own human family and offer unconditional love and comfort for those that share their lives.

This is Bobcat Legends Socrates Ulysses. He's a Pixie Bob. He hails from the Legend Cat lineage. The breed is said to have originated in the 80's from a Red Coastal Bobcat and Domestic Barn Cat mating. The kittens from that litter along with a similar breeding were mated and the Pixie Bob was born. Although their DNA does not show the wild in them, I can assure you they have wild looks (bobcat tail and markings) and tendencies (he tries to bury his food when he doesn't finish). Pixie Bobs are also known as dogs in cat's clothes. He loves water (trying to keep him out of the shower or from playing in the toilet is like trying to keep a child from jumping in a puddle). He loves to go for walks and ride in the car. He plays fetch and does tricks for treats. He doesn't meow like other cats, he chirps and chatters. When he's pissed (like at the vet's office), the growl is quite intimidating for sure! He was two years old on Thanksgiving and weighs in at 15 pounds. He still has another year before he reached maturity and we expect him to top out at 18 pounds or so, so yes, he's a big boy.

He brings us smiles, laughs and comfort every day.

    Special

    Billie,

This photo "so" reflects just how much this dog loves you!

Your story is similar to mine in that our Black Lab, "Mickey" was also a "found" dog. My son, at about age 14, found him in a nearby park and carried him home on his bike. You know, one of those "look what followed me home things". Excuse me, but you appear to be carrying him.  LOL  He was tiny, dirty, sick, and covered with ticks. It was late on a Friday night, no vets were open, but we had an Emg. Animal Clinic up the street. Over the phone, they refused to take him, but I was a Mom with a mission so I put him in an empty dog food bucket and took him anyway. I simply walked in and said "You have to do something for this puppy. He's dying". They got my drift and although they couldn't tick dip him, they managed to remove the ticks. I had no $100 to pay them, so I called my Mom(bless her heart) and she provided her credit card #.  She said to me "You know you could get a dog that's not sick for much less money" and I simply replied "I know, but this dog needs me". We took him to our vet on Monday morning. He had tick fever and the vet said he probably wouldn't make it because he was so sick. But, you know what? He started eating and growing and became healthy. We were blessed to have him as a family member for fourteen years. You know the song "What's Love Got To Do With It?" The title says it all.

Sorry, I don't have a photo to post, just an old grainy, fading polaroid. But I'll keep his image in my mind and heart forever.

    Luv,

    Wolfen

I love that story! It's amazing what a little TLC can do for these little guys huh?! You gave him a good life for fourteen years and I bet he gave you just as much!
Thanks for sharing that wonderful story :-)

    Me too!

All rescue stories choke me up....poor little fart.  I will never understand people who can be cruel to animals...either thru out and out abuse or neglect....it just doesn't compute.  When I was a little girl, a man was leading a yearling colt down the street.  The colt either slipped or was too exhausted to go further and went down.  The man started beating him with a whip.  This was long before there was anyone but a cop to call, so I ran and got my mom.  She marched up to that guy (all 5'1", 90 lbs of her)  and snatched the whip out of his hand, and shook it in his face saying "how'd you like me to use this on you?".  He was bouncing around trying to stay out of her way...LOL.  He turned and walked off.  My mom coaxed the colt up.....took him to our house, got him some water and turned him out in our back yard.  The sheriff came and picked him up in the morning.  I don't think that guy every got him back.

Just 2 minutes ago my husband and I were saying we are so lucky he found us! I always wonder why he chose me at the park? I'm so glad he did but can't help but wonder why me? Then I get even more sad wondering if he'd ever approached anyone else and they ditched him...
I just love my little Howard! I wish you could meet him.
