Tumor
Hello, I'm 18 years old. I've recently turned 18 and I'm asking for advice. I think I may have a tumor on my left breast. To me, it's more than clear but I havent been to a doctor to get it checked out. I've been having it since I was in 2nd grade, I believe. It was small. But since I've always been so shy, i never told anyone, mainly because i was scared if getting examined by doctors. Or getting looked by anyone. I feel like this has kinda ruined so many good things for me. To this day nobody knows. Not even my family. Maybe its gotten worse. I dont know how to tell anyone. It may be the size of a lemon. Nobody has noticed it. Since ive kept this from everyone in so long im scared of the reactions i might get. Does anyone have any advice? Please help. I would really apreciate it

Please see a doctor
If you think it's a tumor, and it's change in size please don't let your shyness get in the why of your health. Tell your mom and go see a doctor ASAP. You are too young to be taking chances with your life. Early detection is very important.
please keep us posted and basest of luck
i will be praying for you that it turns out to be nothing

Not a doctor here
You need to go to the doctor. Not all lumps are cancer. You are driving yourself crazy by not going. Being you have had this since the 2nd grade it's a good chance it is a cyst, but who knows. So get to the doctor and find out. So please tell your family and go right away and get back to us and let us know what the doctor said. Okay.
Hugs

Make a appt soon.Growing isn't a good sign.Below you will see my mom's and my young age when tumors were found.Moms was cancer and mine benign.
My mom was dx at 21 and lived 60 years. She said she had the tumor when she was 16 but years ago there wasn't alot of money and you didn't talk to your parents about such things. Not alot known about cancer and I'm sure she just kept it to herself. She was taken to a doctor at 21 by my aunt. When her and my dad were married my dad told his dad(grandpa) about mom's tumor. Grandpa had my aunt get her to a doctor. She had a single masectomy and lived 60 years. This was 6 years before I was born.
What was scary after my first child and at the age of 21 I had a check up.My doctor found 2 tumors. They were benign but I did wonder for months seeing my mom cry alot. She said she was crying because of what she went through and now seeing me having tumors at such a young age.I really thought with her actions I might have it and they just left the breast.Thankfully I was wrong but now years later I have bc on that same side.
See a doctor and let us know the outcome. We just lost a PINK SISTER at 21 to breast cancer. We all miss her.She inspired all of us.She is remembered and never will be forgotten.
