6 month checkup
I have to see my onc tomorrow for my 6 month checkup & blood test (tumor markers).
Don't know that I should be, but I'm nervous/anxious.
I'm afraid they'll find "something". Logically I know it's better to face whatever I have to face than ignore it...but still. Waiting for the blood to come back is the worst.
To top it off, I've been worried about recurrance lately, this being my 2 year mark as a survivor. I've heard if it's going to come back, the chances are the greatest now.
I'm posting here because I need to vent and non-survivors will just tell me to "suck it up" or something rather than understand.
Does anyone else go through this?

I'll be thinking of you! I
I'll be thinking of you! I totally understand , like most of us here. I just past my 4 yr mark-had routine mamo and un-routine Ultra sound. THEY SAW something only on Ultrasound...biopsy, surgery and ALL Ok...to me it was so worth the surgery (for nothing) just to KNOW..
senind good thoughts and pixie dust your way..

up ..for many of us Survivors. Life get sweeter, do I still worry, YES - but, not as often. What helps me is to stay tuned into our ACS site -- knowing that many Sisters in PINK are living life --, playing it forward .. and giving back, where I can.

Whew -- everything came back OK. So how many more of these do I have to do?
Thanks again for all of your loving, warm "sisterly" thoughts and words. It means alot to me.
