My Bell
I think I mentioned that as a surprise my husband had this bell and plaque made for me as a finishing radiation gift. When he saw the bell at the oncology office he wanted me to have my very own at home that could be rung on special occasions and milestones. I rang it for the first time after I got the news that my PET/CT were clean. I just love this bell and we have it in our family room where I see it daily and think of how lucky I am both for my wonderful husband and sons and also for my health.

Billie,
Seems like you have quite the husband there. I am sure he enjoys the sound of the bell knowing his wonderful wife is healthy and enjoys ringing it. That was such a sweet thing to do.

It is such a touching sign of love that your husband did that for you. You rang it for my husband when he finished his treatment and it made me cry that you would be so kind. You are very kind and inspirational .

I just love the sound of it and I love the reasons for which it is to be rung.
I will gladly ring it for any of our "family"

Beautiful!
Billie,
That is just awesome! Not only is the bell for you to ring as a reminder but also for the larger family of survivors you are part of here and elsewhere. It makes me think of a dinner bell my mother used to ring each day at 5pm. She passed this past September. I need to ask around if anyone has seen it. It would be really special to have one to use in a similar manner.
Thanks
Don

Your husband gets the "your just too cool" award for that one, truly.
I also love the scripture...
Thanks for sharing .....you both have been through it and won...
Best,

sounding off
Billie,
Now you will have to help me double team the rad grads. The neighbors wonder what the bells are for and the cat comes a running and I get a kick out of it. Just hearing it ring loudly emphasizes what it is all about (another person has fought the battle and donned the mask for the last time, thank God).
Ding, Dong, Ding,
Matt
