chemo and radiation effects on babies in families

    Starting treatment next week and can't seem to find info about effects of my chemo and radiation on babies in my home...any help? Need to reassure my son and daughter in law.

    Actually

    Ask the Oncologist to write you something up to assure your son and daughter about your particular chemo and radiation.  They woud be most up to date on policies concerning chemo's.

    When we searched we couldn't find anything earlier because my grandson was born during my chemo.  We just made sure he didn't suck on my arms or any part of my body because I wanted to make sure he wasn't getting any chemo residue in my sweat or on my body and that was the only precaution.
