Low WBC
Linda,
The only time I had chemo, I had a lot of cancellations due to low wbc. I use to get mad at them because I looked the healthiest of all those people having their chemo in the inffusion room. In those days, they didn't have anything to raise your low wbc. Usually my counts would be ok for the following week.
You don't want to catch anything while your counts are so low. Why did they not give you something to help rise them? I don't know much about neulasta.
Wishing you the best with good results with you scans.

Neulasta
So, do you get a shot of something like Neulasta after you have chemo -- or are you talking another shot of it, maybe? I always had a Neulasta shot the day after a chemo infusion, except after my last one. Like you, I wanted to stay on schedule.
It must be disappointing to have to wait.

Oh shoot! I remember how disappointed that I was when my WBC was too low for chemo. Hopefully, it will be back up soon. Sending big hugs and prayers!

I did neupogin (a cousin to neulasta) with my original chemo 2 years ago. We haven't been doing it with this round, this is the first time we've delayed chemo because of WBC. We'll consider newulasta/neupogin if my WBC isn't improved next week.

I've been remindingDoris,
I've been reminding myself that my WBC is low and that I might need to make a couple of extra changes for a while. Aside from bald and no eyebrows, I look comparatively healthy too. So I completely understand.

Just praying and hoping your WBC counts are up, and chemo will resume. I am thinking and praying that all goes well today with your MRI.
Gentle hugs, and prayers for you dear, sweet sister.
