James has passed
James, my partner of 16 years and parent to our three children, India (4) Remy (6) and Talin (8), passed away on December 16. He was diagnosed late August last year, so a 15 month battle in all. James was surrounded by his family when he passed, and in the end it was peaceful and painless. We are all so very sad that he has left us, but he is no longer in any pain or anguish. James was 43.
I wish all of you here the very best of luck. There are survivors, and good news stories, so keep posting those as i know James and i really appreciated hearing about those along the way. it gave us both strength and hope.
Sending you our love from Australia...
Steve & family.

Steve and family, So very sorry
So very sorry to hear this. It breaks my heart over and over again with the loss of each precious life. My husband passed away 9 months ago, and I think we always think our loved one will be the one to beat this monster. I wish you peace in knowing his passing was peaceful, and there isn't any more pain for him, although we still have pain for our loss. May you be able to see the love he left with your beautiful family to help you through the coming months. Linda

heavey heart
I remember when you joined the "web family" here on CSN, I'm saddened to hear of your loss. Dont forget in the coming months to take care of yourself too, as you have for James and your children. I can only imagin how overwhelming your loss has been for he was so young.

Condolences, Steve!
Apologies for the late condolences - It's difficult to visit here since losing Nick.
I'm so sorry that James has passed. I am glad that his battle with the EC beast is no longer tearing at his body. 43 is too damned young though!
I'm glad you have the littles. They will be your reason for strength and will provide you with so much love that you will find it possible to wake each morning and continue to put one foot in front of the other.
Please know that we all pray for you and the family to find peace and comfort. Keep your memories close. {HUGS} to you all!

Facebook
Steve,
There is a private group on Facebook for those of us that had lost our significant other to the EC beast. If you would care to join us, please message me back here with your Facebook information. I would be happy to invite you to join our group. We number in the 20's right now, and sadly that number continues to grow.
Thinking of you and the littles! {HUGS}
