scan results
Hi All, Haven't been on here awhile, had a bad few days this week, but...my scan came back clean. I finished my number 12 last week, my blood clot in my leg is clear so I can get off the coumadin...but still don't feel confident about results, was so tired yesterday couldn't even pick up the computer to get on it. Dr. says it takes about 3 months to feel better after chemo treatments? My neuropathy is still so bad and still haven't gotten control of bathroom problems ...ehhh. In and out of depression which gets bad at times. Besides that hope everyone had a good Christmas and everyone else that had scans lately got good results. Best to everyone, Kathy

congratulations! If you just finished last week, I wouldn't expect to start feeling more normal for a while yet. Took me a couple of months to start to feel noticably better after my last chemo (and some things do tend to linger, like the neuropathy). Some things that I found helpful...vitamins B and D for a little more energy, iron for anemia, lomotil to deal with diarrhea, and anti-anxiety meds and walking for the mood issues (and to get better sleep, if that is an issue). It's important to be gentle on yourself and not expect too much right away. You've been through a very challenging experience, both physically and emotionally, and it takes time to heal from that. Keep us posted on how you're doing. Hugs~Ann Alexandria
