With the coming of the Christmas celebration I wanted to pass on something that Daddy always read to us on Christmas Eve and I read to our sons. It is not Biblical but is about the Shepherds. The 'account' is in the book "Ben Hur" by Gen. Lew Wallace (First Book, Chapter 11 I think). If anyone is intersted in reading it just 'google' "A mile and a half or be it 2 miles" and you can find it. It is a bit long to read in entirity to children but I do have the edited/shortened form that Daddy and I read if you would like it.
