You are not bragging. You are giving newbies like me (diagnosed a month ago) hope. When the surgeon told me I had colon cancer w/mets to my liver, I asked if it was curable. He said no, and gave me statistics. It wasn't until I started with the oncologist that I began to have some hope, that this was "treatable."
Just remember, you are not a statistic. You are an individual. Just maintain a positive attitude. Don't let cancer control you, you control the cancer. Best wishes.0 -

It seems like once a month i hear about someone i know or a friend of a friend being diagnosed with cancer. I think we were chosen to be long term survivors to help inspire and comfort others battling the beast.0 -

Wonderful!
Congratulations! Thank you for sharing hope. I love hearing your story and the fact that you've stayed on the forum. I've been inspired with hope for my daughter by you and so many of the others here, including those you mentioned! It's been a hard year and the advice and stories I've read here have helped my family immensely, yours included. Wishing you many more years of hope and good health. Merry Christmas!
