    This is truly sad news.
    To lose someone this you to the beast is heartbreaking. My thoughts are with her family and friends. We all have another angel to watch over us.

    This is Heartbreaking
    This is Heartbreaking news.It brings tears to my eyes.We all cared deeply for her and marveled at all she could do even with her cancer.She went to college, worked parttime and still had time to enjoy life while she was able.Just having fun with her girlfriends and traveling.She never stopped and always let us what she was doing and how much fun she had.

    Kat you will be deeply missed.We'll never forget you.You're now an ANGEL watching over us.

    Kat's Family and Friends have my deepest sympathy. She was so worried about them and how it all was affecting them. She thought of others.

    Oh, no...
    Although am not shocked - still, Kat's passing is... truly devastating. I had always hoped for some sort of miracle.

    She was an amazing, intensely bright light here - even while facing her impossible struggles.

    So, so sad. Absolutely heartbreaking. May her sweet, young - much, much too young - soul now rest in peace, free of pain.

    RIP Peace Beautiful One
    Today we lost an amazing young woman who was worth far more than rubies or gold. She was a rare treasure that was on loan to us from God. Kat now soars high into the heavens and is free from sickness and pain. She will forever be in my heart as a beautiful soul who so inspired many with her life and her"no matter what" attitude. God comfort the family and friends during this immense loss.

    I read this post with a heavy heart and tears running down my face. I tried to explain to my own 20 year old daughter what a brave, wonderful soul Kat was and how much we all cared about her. Words simply escape me right now. Rest in peace dear friend. :'(

    My heart is just breaking reading this post,to lose some one so young i can hardly write this through my tears.My prayers to her family.Thank you for posting.A sad sad day.I have a candle in my window for her to light her way.

    Like everyone, I am heartbroken
    I pray for Kat's family and friends... for Kat, I am sure she's in a wonderful place and in the best of care! No more pain, no more sick from treatments, one of God's special angels now. Thank you Kat for having been a part of my life if even for a very short period of time!

    It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of our"Hootie Girl". She fought the fight until she could fight no more. She will be missed by all . I will keep her family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. The world will be a little dimmer without our Kat.

    another angel. My heart is so heavy with sadness. Even though she was (OMG I don't want to use past tense) ... so young, she had wisdom beyond those of twice/thrice times her age. When I first became part of this sisterhood, I was so scared. But then I would see posts by this beautiful young lady. Posts that taught me how to be gracious about having such a horrid disease. I am 57. And I am grateful to be here and grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know such a wonderful, caring, aspiring, inspiring spirit.

    Kat .... I will miss you with all my heart. Rest in peace sweet sweet angel. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for sharing your journey with me/us. We can all hope to be so strong and courageous in our battles.

    With a heavy heart ... I say ... Good Bye Dear Kat. I know you will be watching over us. And to your family....I wish I had the words that could take away your pains. But since I cannot, I will pray that God will help you by giving you strength to heal and move forward.
