We lost our Sweet Kat (Hootie Girl) today. Please PRAY for her soul and her family.
This is Lukas Larson. Katrina gave me her login credentials to inform everyone what is happening.
Katrina Larson passed away today at 1:10 PM Central time from her cancer. She was in a comatose state for a little over 24 hours, and died peacefully in her sleep. We are planning a ceremony and I will be posting on here details of that.
We are all devastated from this, as I'm sure all of her friends and everyone who has every known such a beautiful person is. All further posts on here from her profile will be posted by me unless otherwise noted.
If you'd like, please feel welcome to post any pictures or sentiment you care to share on her timeline.
Please keep her family in prayers. We lost a very strong and beautiful soul.

reading this very sad news about our sweet, young Kat. It had been so long since she had posted an update, and as we all know, it wasn't good news then.
I know all of us pinkies kept posting to her post and sending all of the love, hugs and prayers that were possible to send via cyber space.
I will pray for her family and friends.
Rest in peace sweet Kat, rest in peace now.

The world is not as nice a place today as it was yesterday. I am glad that Kat is now in peace and I hope that her family can take solace in that. Such a beautiful girl and such a vibrant life gone way too soon.
Peace and strength to Kat's family,

So Very Sad!
Thank you for posting this very, sad news about Kat, LoveBabyJesus.
I figured when there was no update that things had turned the wrong way. Kat was so very young to have been hit with this awful disease. Should have had her whole life ahead of her, finishing college, marrying, having children, a career and even old age. All so cruelly robbed from her. She suffered so long, was so darn brave in her battle with breast cancer.
It makes me weep to see someone like her die. I wish Komen would stop celebrating the 70% and stop adding all the money raised "for a cure" on awareness and administration. Why? After 30 years, can't they at least find something to stop the ravages of this disease, especially in the very young. It is so frustrating to see them year after year, die. Oh Kat, how I had wish you could have made it. Could have won...
It must have been so very hard for her folks and family to watch her waste away with this disease. My sincere condolences to them. They had a beautiful, courageous daughter.

As I followed her journey, I was taken by her enthusiasm for life. She lived in the now and pulled every joy she could out of life. We can all learn a lesson by how this brave woman faced cancer. She last wrote that her concern was for her patents who had a limited time left with her. I read recently that the toughest lessons are given to the best students. God must have felt she was ready to graduate to spirit. I will miss her.

This is just heartbreaking!
This is just heartbreaking! I am so saddened by the viciousness of this disease. We have lost such a special person--Kat's spirit was so strong and loving here. She will be so very missed. Lighting a candle tonight in memory of a very bright light. :-(0 -

Kat was one in a million and inspired us so much. She lived so much in her short life. I learned so much from her. and I am more than twice her age. It was always hard to read her posts, she was the age of my daughters. I kept hoping for something that would work to at least give her more time. Or help her pain. Now she is a beautiful angel helping the babies from Conn. I can so see her doing that.0 -

It is so sad to hear of someone so young being hit with this dreadful disease. SHe was so courageous and always positive about everything. We will miss her every day. Prayers for her family.
My heart and soul are very sad to hear the news of our sweet angel.
She was so special too me, I thought of her daily and wish that when I was her young age that I would of had her ambition , goals, spunk, courage, to live my life to the fullest.
She has made such an impact in my life personaly, I strive too be a better person with as much enthusiasm as our precious Kat.
Kat and her loved ones will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Heaven got a beautiful angel today and we lost a special pink sister. What a loss..
I was worried, as so many, that Kat had taken a turn for the worse. I prayed that it wasn't so and that she was feeling better and out and about doing things. I am saddened to know that was wrong.
My prayers and thoughts to the family of Kat. I can't imagine the pain they are feeling losing such a special, young woman.
Love to you Kat,
Susie0
