    i hope you have a great weekend. i will be going to mcdonalds sat. with 3 of my grandkids for lunch with santa & then we will be at friends house to watch indiana university vs butler in a basketball game. sunday we will be going to chuck e cheese for a grandson' birthday party, who will be 4 on monday. it is so much fun watching the excitement of the grandkids! plus 3 of my college grandkids will be coming home. enjoy the weekend & get that shopping done!!!

    Weekend at home
    So much to get done before next weekend. We are hosting everyone for Christmas next Sat at our house. We're real excited but with lots of work. Oh well it will be worth it. Pray everyone is well. Jeff

    flying home to family for Xmas
    Hi Pepe and friends,
    Its been 2 1/2 months in germany.
    On friday I had a pet scan 8am, chemo embolisation 1pm, local hyperthermia 5pm
    then straight to the Frankfurt xmas market where I had a crepe, it was so good.
    then a 3 hour drive to Hallwang clinic for infusions, doctors consults and to collect mediations for taking home. About 7 weeks.

    Just started a new job this week - Enjoying "normal" . My CT scans clean, CEA good, Colonos scheduled for 1/28. NED 1 year on 1/31/13. Enjoying 1 day at a time. Best to all.

    Im feeling better...but as you know it is all relative. When I feel good I have a tendency to over do it but that is okay. Pray everyone feels good for Christmas. Jeff

    I haven't tried climbing Everest since 1940 when I was riding a snow leopard up the south face and was captured by a Yeti. I guess she thought I washer baby because she nurtured me for four years. Been afraid to go back since then, Yeti milk is just nasty. Since then I've limited myself to weekend jaunts on K2 and the north face of the Eiger.

    Christmas Tree
    I got a tree! It's a six foot (or so) frasier fur. My family helped me set it up, as after 11 chemo hits, I can't frickin' do anything without needing a nap. sigh. found some strings of all purple lights at big lots, so I put those up. Figured if it's my last Christmas, dammit I'm doing what I want. Purple lights are odd. I won't go so far as to say they are creepy but they take getting used to. They're magenta than lilac actually. Will hang ornaments tomorrow.
