Prayer Request

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Hi all:

Got an urgent prayer request. My best friend's husband had a CT scan yesterday of his lungs and now is having a needle biopsy on Thursday. There are three spots on one lung. Of course nothing is totally sure, but he is 75; has been a drinker and smoker for a long time. I have known my best friend since we were 2 1/2 and now are both 59. She's the one that stayed with me during Charlie's passing and all. I so don't want her or him to have to go thru this mess. But what do you do? She knows about this website and how wonderful everyone is so I'm going to suggest she get started on it. I'm going to tell her she will probably want to do the lung cancer forum but get her to check in with you guys too so y'all know who she is. I tell to make sure she tells everyone she's basketcase's best friend. Please keep them in your prayers; they are so very precious to me. His name is Steve and hers is Beki. Thanks again. Y'all are super and I know you'll be praying for them. Love y'all.

    I will say a prayer for the best of results from the biopsy. Do have her visit our site as we have multiple people with lung issues too.

    Oh, and on a side note...I agree with what Dan said. I am starting to think everyone has cancer.

    please pass them on to your friend.
    I don't know what is going on in the world but this has
    been one hell of a year....
    I've been to 3 friends funerals this year, 2 from cancer,
    and one of them dx same time as me (12 months ago)
    and now I have 4 of my good friends battleing different
    types of cancer from lung to non-hodgkins lymphoma
    and now my best friend had a biopsy last week and gets his
    results on wednesday for something with the throat. This
    disease is out of control.....it is never ending.

    So Jan I've been saying lots of prayers for my friends and
    all my cyber family on the board so I will also add your friend.
