thank you for doing the happy dance with me
Ladies ... I cannot tell you how friggin happy I am. I kept telling myself (for the past 3 months anyway) there is no way there is more cancer in me. I won't allow it! I've been chasing that dark cloud away forever. Now I can move forward and possibly never look back.
Thanks for all the well wishes and the prayers. FAITH! You gotta have faith.
xoxo
Mary

Mary, what perfect news after such a long month. Way to begin celebrating the holidays. xoxoxo Lynn
I can't tell you how happy I am for you! It seems that those pesky lung nodules were worrisome to the docs, but it sounds like maybe they're just "body junk". Please do follow up, tho. Since we grew cancer once, I figure it's just good insurance to make sure we don't do it again (I, too, believe my cancer from 2 years ago is gone)and it's ok with me to have these routine follow ups just like I used to have routine mammos and paps before all this crazy stuff started. It makes me happy that your doc wants to make sure you're ok, but doesn't think it's necessary to look under every rock every 3 months. I just "graduated" to every 6 months, but feel no urgency if I'm overdue. You know we're never in the clear with breast cancer, even after 5-10 years. They don't know why sometimes the cells just lay dormant for a long time and then wake up, but sometimes they do. And - we can always develop another cancer as whatever conditions allowed this to develop in the first place still exists.
Ok, I'll get off my soap box about following up, even if once a year. Now, let's party!
