Golden RetrieversCivilMatt said:to better times
Rick,
If you have another story about Peanut, I could use one about now. I am so sorry to read your news, but happy you are still in the fight. One time a Peanut came into your life maybe it is time for some positive results to do the same.
Praying for you,
Matt
Well, let me take you over to my pet page. The photos are now about eight years old. Peanut was about six when they were taken. She was the second Golden Retriever that lived with me who dived. You can see from the photos that she would have her head completely submerged. There where times when other dogs would swim on top of her and inadvertently hold her head under water. So she started to chase all other dogs out of the area when she wanted to dive. An aggressive Golden Retriever. Well, when life means going under, you just have to clear the area.

Prayers & Faith...
Rick,
Sending prayers to you. Remember to keep the faith and keep on fighting. Please keep thinking that you can kill this beast and hold it under!
NEVER STOP.....

That's where my heart truly lies, is with my dogs...
I had a German Shepherd female in my 20's who would dive like that....she learned the trick from her best friend a Lab. She'd dive off the end of the dock and bring up the same rock over and over and over...I never figured out how she did that.
I got a Standard Poodle puppy while I was still in treatment...here she was 4 months old with a sick mom who could barely walk her across the pasture, yet she hung out by my chair...learned to nap when I did, and sleep the nights thru...kind of like she knew things would look up when I got stronger.
If Peanut the Golden Retriever (one of the sweetest breeds there is) can aggressively run off the bad guys, then there's possibly a lesson in it for you...run off those bad boys with all you got...at least you can say you gave it your all.

Hi Rick
As you know I don’t believe in giving up, so stay in there and fight it anyway you can with Pray, Conventional, and Alternative treatments as you never know what will work. If you need contact me on some of the alternative stuff.
