    Surgery will be on the 18th
    Hey all !
    I tried to post under each one of yours but....didn't work. I will be getting the confirmation call on the date on the 11th. It's a big hospital..and the doctor is opened for that day...but they need to have an OR opened and of coarse a bed. So now I can bake some cookies for Christmas for the grandkids and maybe decorate a bit ! Sounds good to me ! Thank you all ! What a group of people....you're all simply amazing ! Katie

    I know our dx's are different...but saying this tons of your posts have brought me so many smiles. This isn't an easy adventure for anyone...no matter the dx or trip. But I want you to know you have made mine and others easier because of your excellant advice on living. Thanks again John ! Katie

    But not at your post ! I thank you so much. If anyone you have been such an inspiration on courage and determination for me ! I'm giggling because every time I try to post under someone's post it gets thrown where I don't want it. Oh well, kinda like every day...things go where we don't want them to.     I feel like if I drove up the road for a visit you'd be on my list. We live many miles apart and yet you've become a great resource of comfort and support.     I am so looking forward to Sunday...we will be on an adventure to the local bowling alley with our 3 grown children and 9 grandbabies. We will be all together and lots of laughter and holiday fun ! Shopping right now for presents is not on my mind...but family most defineately is ! So this is our Christmas celebration. Here's wishing for a better next yr. for us all ! Katie

    I want you to remember to stay positive through your journey...I just read your other post and jumped for joy ! Not everyone with ADCC has the trip I'm on. We are a rare breed, but as more and more is talked about this...and the more that the doctors educate themselves on this dx....the better treatments will evolve. I think early dx is the main stay...and getting clean margins and no perineural spread or mets. I will contine to stay on board here because of this ! Continued success...and remember yours is the BEST CASE SCENERIO ! I am so happy for you....and we have another Meagan that is in NED with this same dx ! Katie
