dear winter,
they predict snow here tomorrow, what a crazy world, snow on one side and sunshine on the other. i get my cea results in a fews days, and I have tried to fill my mind with the beauty of the black forest. i hope you can find something peaceful to fill you mind with. on the whole I am convinced these tests punch above their weight in terms of our quality of life. that said i hope you results are better than what you expect.
hugs,
Pete
We journey together all of us, a strange journey we are on, is it not?
Hugs back,

Sorry you got this
Winter,
Sorry you got this news. When is your next scan? Sometimes CEA can increase as cancer cells die, so don't make too much of this. Stormy here all day too, I love the rain, but am sure I will be missing the sun if we really do get 5 inches of rain by Sunday night. Sending you big hugs. Stay dry....
Bill
If the CEA had gone down, my next scan would have been in 3 weeks, but that will wait until we see the new CEA count and if it's still the same or going up, on to new chemo and scans after hopefully the CEA goes down quite a bit. Just had 3 scans in prep for the surgery that didn't happen in October, a CT, then a PET and then a CT to double check. So a little scanned out right now.
Thank you for the hugs,
Staying dry,
Love,

Ahhh, Winter...sorry you're feeling so down. I had to re-read your original post a couple of times I read it as being down 5 then 6.....then saw you clarified it had gone up. Do you have any idea what chemo. oncologist is planning on switching to if need be? I finally got on avastin...supposed to have infusion yesterday, had to be cancelled...I have to get in to dentist, face swollen, obvious infectin from a tooth...oncologist put me on penicillin....I'm amazed how quick the penicillin has kicked this down..I didn't have to pop tylenol for the pain yet overnight or yet this morning. I have to get this resolved before chemo. again. Oncologist wants to see me next week to "make sure I'm okay".....good thing my white counts don't go down with chemo.0 -
Wishing you sunshine
I hope you got your sunshine today. I send you a hug.0 -

It's a gain not a drop.had 5 down last time, up 6 this time, so at highest number of 17.1 now this year. Started out at 2.1 I think this year.
Winter Marie
Misread it. Hoping for better news next time.

I'm very sorry to read this, Winter...
I hope you get some sun soon and a lift in spirits. You seem like a tough lady, but you've really been through enough already. Keep us posted on how the next test goes...keeping my fingers crossed for you that this one was perhaps just a glitch. Hugs~Ann Alexandria0 -

I'm so sorry you
Hi Winter,
I'm so sorry you are going thru this. CEA is a good marker for me, too, so I understand your anxiety, Hang in. You are one strong gal and even stronger with all of us behind you. We are in this for the long haul....blessings and wishes for better news soon. Sunshine is just around the corner.

I hope the sunshine raises your spirits
Whatever the cea does, I know you will handle it.
Praying it's a fall.
Hugs,
Pete0
