Feb Appt
Lori
My appts in Feb are spread over 3 days, which is unusual. 2/6 CT scan at 6:00 PM which means I'll get done around 11:00. 2/7 Dr. Eng, and 2/8 Dr. Chang. I know I Dr. Eng won't have the CT scan results the next morning. Let me see if I can change my appts to the 11th or so since the current appt schedule is so choppy. I'll send an email and let you know. The challenge is coordinating between Dr. Eng and Dr. Chang. I'll get back to you.
I hope we can make it work!!!

I just sent an email to see if they will change my appointments to the 11th and 12th. They might be able to do so considering the advance notice. Are you having a CT scan in Feb as well? It would be nice to have company during the endless wait! lol.
I just pulled up my MDA online records to send the email. Never fails, when I see all that info it really brings it all back. I really did have cancer....For those of you wondering what I'm talkig about - MDA has all your medical records, every single detail online. Every blood test, scope, CT scan, probe, ultrasound, you name it is there. Detail after detail about diagonsis, location, size, nodes. I know it's a great thing in a way to have access to everything. I'm just having one of those moments when reading it scares the heck out of me.
Okay, moment has passed. Onward! Margaritas in Houston!!!

No scan this time. On every 6 months now. However, my first (and only!) appt on the 11th is at 1:30, so if your scan is early I WILL hang out with you. It's true that the waiting room gets boring!
You are sooooo right about bringing reality back seeing all those reports. We really did have cancer. And we have relly survived and gotten back to living. Thanks Dr. Eng! Lorie0 -

They couldn't change my date to the 11th. The offered the 19th as a possibility but that is too far off. I have all the tests that Sephie descibed with the different doctors so it's complicated to get it all changed and coordinated. I'm sorry, I was really hoping to meet up with you.
Sephie, be sure to ask for the "juice barium" versus the old chalky kind. It is sooooo much better! Not sure if you had it already. When I was there for my last appointment it had just begun being used and it was big hit!

Phooey! I will try to move mine up as I have less testing this time. If I can't, let me know when they schedule your next appt and maybe I can request the same time slot! Lorie0
