Anyone ever hear of "Nano knife'?......plus
9news.com/local/article/231583/346/Denver-woman-one-of-few-to-try-new-cancer-treatment
(almost as lengthy as article itself) or,
is this the same thing as some other procedure but with a different name here?
As i don;t think above is accessible, try this one on a spray used during surgery that lights up cancer cells.....Currently being tried with ovarian but see no reason why can't be used in future for CRC........:

nanoknife
I couldn't get to the webpage about nanoknife. I have heard of it and it sounds very promising. I believe that I read that about 30 hospitals in the US has this technology.0 -

The one place in California people can get nanoknife is at UCI Medical Center in Irvine, CA (southern Calif, Orange County). I consulted with the doctor there over the phone re. my recurrent rectal tumor, but found out I'm not a candidate for it (for that particular tumor, anyhow).

MY MOM WHO IS 73 HAD NANO KNIFE ALONG WITH OTHER SURGICAL PROCEEDURES IN JULY OF 11 ON HER LIVER. SHE HAD 8 TUMORS TOTAL REMOVED, ONE BY NANO KNIFE WHEN SHE WAS ORIGINALLY TOLD THAT IT WAS INOPERABLE. HER RECENT CAT SCAN IN NOVEMBER 11 SHOWED THAT ANOTHER INOPERABLE TUMOR IS GROWING RIGHT NEXT TO THE ONE THE NANO KNIFE REMOVED. MORE ROUNDS OF CHEMO, HOPEFULLY HER LIVER MAY BE ABLE TO REJUVINATE ENOUGH TO NANO KNIFE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. SHE HAD THIS DONE AT PASSAVANT HOSPITAL IN PITTSBURGH PA BY DR. GELLER. HE HAD NEVER USED THE NANO KNIFE PROCEEDURE BEFORE AND IT WORKED. UNFORTUNATELY, A SMALL MICROSCOPIC TUMOR STARTED NEXT TO THIS ONE. SHE TOLERATED THE OPERATION WELL, GETTING ONE INFECTION THAT WAS TREATED. BLESS YOU ALL.0

Well here we are in november 2012 and mom still has that tumor growing. She can barely tolerate the vectibix or erbitux and opted for Zaltrap, a newer chemo..that shot her bp so high it was beyond stroke stage. now she is back to half dose of vectibix along with 5fu i believe. She is still hanging in there, the surgeon can't do anything else at this point. He did suggest the spheres, but mom has it in her head that is a last resort because of somthing he had said about them and I cannot change her mind.
Bless you all0 -
